Before anything else. Options and futures are leveraged, fast-moving instruments. An option can expire completely worthless — a total loss of the premium — and futures can lose more than your initial margin on an adverse move. Published data on retail derivatives accounts has repeatedly shown most of them lose money. Watching a mentor trade live does not transfer their account size, risk tolerance or years of screen time to you. Nothing here is financial advice. Only trade money you could lose in full.
